[It’s a difficult time for a LOT of people]

Bed Bath And Beyond are on their way out.

If Barnes & Noble doesn’t make some changes they will be right behind them. They thought that toys and games were a good idea..IDEK about that. Linens and Things was basically the same as Bed Bath And Beyond but it’s been out of buisness for a number of years already. And quite frankly, with the service I have gotten recently it would not be a big loss save for the fact that it is where I go to read magazines(and sometimes buying them!)

Best Buy is getting sad…they used to be music, movies, and then they also had TV’s and the like. Now..not so much and you never see a very busy Best Buy, do you?

The most surprising(but not) is Starbucks It’s the joke of “you can go to that Starbucks..or the one right across the street.” That is so accurate it HURTS.

I’m so old I remember all of the places that have gone out of buisness (and a lot of them were places that I went to with some frequency.

Tower Records(I used to take several buses to get to Tower.)

B. Dalton/Waldenbooks/Crown Books/Borders

KB Toys/Imaginarium(I had to look up the name ..I remember going to the store at UTC back in the day.)
