My first concert was 39 years ago today!
It was a Monday night. I probably wouldn’t have been allowed to go save for the fact it was spring break.
The seats were terrible but I did not care because it was my first concert and it was Duran Duran who I was a super fan of at the time.
We were in line to get something to drink and the support band started..except I thought they were. Duran Duran and I went back to my seat and stayed there for the rest of the time. Left before the encore which, my brother (who was there with me)was anticipating a fight over..but I was OK with it and I have been to several concerts with him since and it is a running joke between us!
