Thursday, 19 January 2023 07:54I’m reading Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo.Not quite halfway in and yeah..liking it a lot.
Here’s the thing:Leigh Bardugo is the sort of author who can be divisive. She’s mainly written young adult books(and those are great).This is her first adult book though and it is very different from anything that she has written before.
On YouTube there are quite a few negative/mixed reviews.Depending on where you fall on Leigh Bardugo you might get upset about any sort of bad reviews.However, Ninth House is, as I said very different from anything she’s written before and her fans(some of them anyways) are shaking their heads.) It’s not as bad as some of the other author drama I have seen online.
Not just YA authors(though there are plenty of them who don’t like any sort of bad reviews.Anne Rice (god rest her soul) was famous for that.She also didn’t like fan fiction .
