[Hasn’t been this wanky in a while]
Nov. 25th, 2022 07:54 am*Missed ports(Which happens..but keep reading..the entitlement is real..)
It’s saving fuel costs.
(Turns out that that is FALSE.)
Many choose a cruise for particular ports.
(Yes they do..and god forbid the ports get cancelled.)
They could be more forthcoming.
(Too bad so sad.)
No explanation of why they made the changes.
(Sometimes the changes are last minute.I would say the VAST majority of times it’s that way.And as I have said many many times it’s not anything that the captain can control and often it’s for the passengers’ safety.
Use the “I went on this cruise to visit a certain port” comment.
(Like I said..entitlement.)
That’s only used at guest services to receive something for their bucket list port that is missed.
(Or they whinge and complain at Cruise Critic, hoping someone from HAL will see it.)
Annoying when ports are missed.
(*sigh*)
HAL is not willy nilly cancelling ports.
(No they’re not. There’s this perception with some of the diehards that HAL is trying to screw them over by canceling ports and a certain port was cancelled for “no reason”.)
Nicaragua was cancelled by the country -this affects all cruise lines.,
(See!It’s not the cruise line trying to screw you over. I wonder what was going on that they had to cancel the port.I’m glad that I got to go there when I did(on a Panama Canal cruise..if you get a chance to do that..DO IT!!!)
