*Disturbing kids’ books. Interesting video and I wanted to talk about this.
Bridge To Terabithia(and a similar book Bang The Turtle Drum.)
Where The Wild Things Are(Whuuuut!??) and also Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See? which was banned because someone thought that the author was the same person that wrote a book about Marxism.) See also:The Velveteen Rabbit(I remember being really upset when they tell the kid character they have to burn most everything he owns because he had scarlet fever.)
The Book Thief
The Diary Of Anne Frank(which I had to read in 6th grade.)
Life As We Knew It(which I’ve talked about on here before)/How I Live Now both books about living through an apocalypse or in the case of the second book, nuclear war.)
Flowers In The Attic(I was one of the few kids who *didn’t* read all of these books.)
Not kids/YA books but “why were we allowed to read this?”
Forever(I loved me some Judy Blume and this was so different from anything that she had written before.)
Let The Right One In(which is disturbing on a lot of different levels..gonna put this behind a cut and all the trigger warnings

*Tried the shuttle that goes all over Oceanside .Worked better this time.
*Adnan Sayed(who was the subject of the Serial podcast) was released from prison.
I have a new faucet-I went to turn on my kitchen faucet and the handle came off in my hand. I was told it may be a day or two but the plumber came back the same day. I am very happy, needless to say!
*Watched the Queen’s funeral.
