[Never knew this until recently]

But my mom somehow found out Duran Duran were going to be in San Diego-back in the day, and went to my brother and said “can you get tickets for the Duran Duran concert?I really want this for Katie”.

IIRC the shows in San Diego(and San Francisco/the Bay Area) were tacked on kinda at the end of what was a long tour already.I only found out about it last minute .I wasn’t confident that it wouldn’t sell out(we got tickets so it was all good.)

The part that gets me is my mom going to bat so much for me! I knew they were tolerant of me being a Duran Duran fan but not to *that* extent!
