[Whine and cheese]
Tuesday, 21 December 2021 08:44*More of the “why are HAL’s ships being blocked/why are they at such and such dock?” Trust me, it is NOT a slight against HAL, as much as you might think it might be true. The old guard are looking for things-stupid things-to complain about and this is about as stupid as it gets.
Right up there within the stereotyping of other cruise lines(Carnival is nothing but drunk people and too many kids,the Royal Caribbean ships are floating cities.And maybe they’ve are, But I am going to say this(and I am repeating myself and I don’t care):To each his/her own. Kids like HAL-I mean, when my family went on a Alaskan cruise, we hardly saw my nephews because they were at Club HAL(this was on sea days of which there were quite a few-more than you would think)and they made friends which they still have to this day. AND they would HAPPILY go on another family cruise if we booked one.**
(A drunk lady fell into the pool and there were snarky comments about “are you SURE that you weren’t on a Carnival ship?” So you see how deep that stereotyping goes(and it goes WAY deep)
*The HATED slot machines are gone from the Ocean Bar.This makes the people that were clutching their pearls over it are happy. Didn’t I tell you that they get upset over stupid shit?And this is about as stupid as it gets.
**Said it many many many times but if HAL didn’t want kids on their ships they would not have Club HAL. Some crusty individuals wants to have a child free vacation..well, there are workarounds for that(some times of the year will have more kids on sailings than others,as an example spring break.You hear the stories about roving bands of kids on HAL ships hassling fellow passengers.Not saying that is hasn’t happened but there are some people who claim it happens ALL.THE.TIME.
