RTBTCKI: Relaxed day]
Saturday, 4 December 2021 08:35*We had a power outage the other day-didn’t last very long so that was good!
*REALLY enjoyed the second season of The Hot Zone, which focused on the anthrax scares after 9/11.I remember how it was afterwards and that is shown from the points of view of various characters and one who seems like he is the good guy but later on is revealed not to be such a good guy(and how!)
*My niece’s wedding is going to be in Sedona which works for me-at the Chapel Of The Holy Cross which I haven’t been to in a while but I remember a long walk to get up there. HOWEVER, when you get to the top, the view is worth it.Sedona is one big photo op and one of my favourite places to visit.
I have a soft spot for the Southwest-if I was going to live anywhere apart from California,I would go to either Arizona or someplace in New Mexico(Santa Fe,I was there years and years ago and loved it. )As much as I love California(it’s home! Has been for the 50 years I’ve been alive! )My mom is a native as well which in this day and age is unusual-my dad moved to California in his early teens(Air Force brat which I have mentioned before. )
Now,I live close to a Marine base, and San Diego also has a Navy base.So in that sense that is not so unusual. Out of state license plates are not uncommon as a result.
A lot of people are moving here for reasons apart from being in the Navy or Marines though. Areas that were formerly out in the middle of nowhere are now homes and condos for all the people that are moving here.
