[A perfect post for Pride month! 🏳️‍🌈]

On the new Rugrats reboot, Betty Deville, Phil and Lil’s mom, is a out lesbian. There are some that say there were hints on the original show that she was gay, or at the very least, bicurious. In this version she mentions ex girlfriends several times. This Rugrats is for the people who grew up with the show, if you haven’t guessed. You know my feeling about reboots(do not even get me started about the Friends Reunion..although that’s just a reunion and not a reboot though so..)

In doing this, they have eliminated her husband Howard. Not sure if he will be mentioned in a “he was the sperm donor” sort of way. I haven’t really looked at any reviews to see if the subject comes up at some point in the series’ current run.
