[“R” you ready?]
May. 9th, 2021 08:51 amThe first R rated movie I ever saw?Stand By Me. I think I was 16 and I saw it with my parents.
I’ve seen a lot of R rated movies since but it was a big deal because it was the first. Mind you,I came of age when they first started PG 13 and that had a few swear words(not anything I hadn’t heard a zillion times at my age ).
Some parents I know let their kids watch pretty much anything(as an example: Terminator 2.Said kid was 5 years old at the time. I was appropriately scandalised)
