[Yep,I’m really that old]
Apr. 30th, 2021 09:18 amNothing gets me feeling nerdy than a computer set-up from around the mid-90’s. Dial-up(the sound of a modem )..brings back memories for sure. My first computer provider was Prodigy(google it).The first time I ever got online I didn’t log out until almost 4 on the morning. So I was on there for a long time.
The internet was amazing..so much that I wanted to look at.I think one of the first things I looked at was Duran Duran websites. And there were a lot of those-even 20-odd years ago!
However, even though we didn’t have the internet(that came along a few years later) my dad bought one of the first Mac computers. It was expensive and didn’t have a lot of memory(it was very easy to use up memory on the floppy discs.Speaking from personal experience here.)
Going back even further, playing Oregon Trail on the computer at school(I always died in the early going, either from starving to death or getting cholera.
