Former popular CEO-not so sure about that.
(You would get the impression that everyone on the HAL boards disliked him because of certain changes and things he brought to Holland America, but that’s not true.I’d say that the most unpopular thing that he did was the partnership with Oprah.
No matter how many times someone said “You don’t have to participate in the Oprah activities someone would insist that you DID.That’s the best part of a cruise:There are plenty of things to do over the course of a day(this is especially true of sea days.) There have been days when I want to do one thing but there’s something else going on(at the other end of the ship!) that I want to check out.)

(Says you. Clearly he did make some good changes whilst he was working for HAL)
Users on this forum were not impressed with him
(Like so many other things, it was a bunch of people whinging making it seem like there were more people who disliked Orlando than there actually were.)
