[The dress code thread that fizzled out]

(Yeah, it has been a while.What with people you know, not traveling it hasn’t been on minds. But now that we’re getting closer to being able to cruise again..)
In the minority..dress code has been downgraded.
(It’s 2021, not 1901.)
There was an “I agree” post(of course).
Someone posted a popcorn gif(of someone eating popcorn).When I went back later it was gone. Someone(one of the people who is for the dressier dress codes) reported it because they were offended .If that offends you, I don’t know...It’s completely true that dress codes are a lightning rod of controversy and have been for a long time even when they changed the dress code.I vaguely recall some posts about the dress code when I was researching my first Caribbean cruise..IIRC the change was coming around that time and like a lot of things(more modern designs on the ships for one thing)it was controversial. It’s amazing to me how stuck in the past some Cruise Critic HAL boards posters are.They’ve been cruising long enough that they remember “The good old days” well.
