Two of the people I follow on Twitter, Ben and David, are on the Sea Dream which is a small, boutique ship. For the first few days passengers were NOT required to wear masks.This is because people had been vetted and(so people thought) were OK and did not have Covid.Not the case now, since there are several people with Covid on the ship. So did the people who have tested positive for Covid get on the ship sick?(but not showing it..yet.)? I will definitely be doing more reading and checking out Ben and David’s Twitter for updates. Someone wanted to know why people were not wearing masks, why could they have not waited a few days?Well, from all appearances everything was good.Obviously not.
There was a lot of pre-testing.Not 100% accurate, obviously
Sea Dream was in Norway recently and it was a lot less strict.
(Well, the situation has changed quite a bit over all of the months that this has been going on)
Not here to criticise Ben and David-they knew the risks of going on this cruise and they chose to do so anyways. But looking at the room service menu that Ben and David posted ..HAL has a long way to go when it comes to room service(I am only basing my comments on room service breakfast on HAL which IS good.I’ve not had lunch or dinner or a late night snack but their room service menu is pretty basic.And another thing that I don’t like is that they give you potato chips instead of french fries if you order a sandwich.Wonder if you could ask them to sub in fries.I’ve had the potato chips on HAL ships and they aren’t anything great.Would much prefer fries. I am almost sure that they do not make the potato chips every day since I have had some that were stale.NAGL,HAL.
