[The coffee is long gone and was desperately needed today]
Thursday, 1 October 2020 14:12Today is the first of October and it is blazing hot here. Definitely a iced coffee kind of day and I have to make it last the whole time that we do Meals On Wheels because most of the time we go right home-there isn’t anywhere that we can make pit stops, save for Target and a few other places(operative word being “few”. It’s an annoyance to be sure.
I’m almost done reading one of the books I started reading last month and am going to finish this month(and be counted for this month.).Reading books on my iPad means I read a lot more in a shorter period of time-that and if I get into a book, there is a high likelihood that I will read 20 plus pages in one go-which means a lot more books get read.That’s not a bad thing.I mean,I’m almost to 90 books-and I still have all of October, all of November and all of December yet(the challenge goes from the first of January to the 31st of December which is a long time-365 calendar days-a whole darn year.Of course this year I have had a lot of spare time on my hands because of Miss ‘Rona.That is maybe the ONE upside of this dumpster fire of a year.
Starting this month,Cruise Critic posts are going back to Friday and Saturday(which they originally were) for the foreseeable future.There may be special days when it’s not on Friday and Saturday but those will be just that:Special days.
Lord knows why I got this particular bee in my bonnet but I decided that I wanted to take the bare minimum of toiletries with me when I travel(lord knows when that’ll be).I managed to whittle it down to one large makeup bag with essentials which for me means just that:hairbrush,deodorant, Advil,chapstick,face wipes,toothbrush, toothpaste, among other things.
Yesterday my parents and I went to a local restaraunt to eat. We sat outside and were an appropriate distance from other people.
