Today will never not be a difficult day for me.I didn’t know anyone who died that day but it hits me hard. Far too much for me to process, even now.
I still remember waking up that morning-I had fallen asleep in front of the TV-and woke up..I had to put my glasses on and..yeah. For me, the first few days afterwards were when I felt the most overwhelmed and sad-everyone did, but the subsequent anniversaries were, in a lot of ways, worse.On this day every year I have this heavy feeling all day-and even sometimes a few days before -I know it’s coming up. And it hits me big time.
