More interaction with the crew.
(Oh man.Opening a can of worms with this one. I think I’ve alluded to the fact-on more than one occasion-that there are a few people who are clingy and need to have every aspect of their life on a cruise ship validated . There have been plenty of threads about where a certain crew member is at any given time.
Of course this has changed because of ‘Rona(among other things.)Goes to show you how attached to cruise ship crew some people are(NOT a compliment by the way..) They refer to crew as their “sons and daughters” and their kids as their grandchildren. Sorry, but this is just weird.)
*Ships being sold:
Quite rightly it was pointed out that the ships that are being sold have to do with their profit.And it has been confirmed that the smaller, older ships are NOT as profitable as their fans like to think they are.There is a strange attraction to those ships,even though they were constantly in dire need of dry dock to fix the issues(and they were many)they had.But the groupies(and that’s the perfect name for them) are willing to overlook a lot of things and anyone who had a bad time on those ships are whiny, etc.)
HAL did not cull four ships because they were meeting exceeding revenue
(Like I said..there are some people who refuse to get that. They like their older ships and are constantly posting their reasons why HAL should be building smaller ships instead of more ships like the Koningsdam .Unfortunately for them the bigger ships are the way that HAL is going. Sorry.)
*This shareholder DOES care about their ships and their history
(Here’s the thing though:You are someone who fixates(yes I know,I try not to use that word but it’s accurate for what is going on. There are a vocal few(making it seem like they are a majority) that want HAL to stay the way it was 20 years ago or more.
Problem is, that is not good for HAL’s bottom line.Especially right now with everything that is going on.)
