(Cruise lines are going to take a HUGE hit and this is but one aspect of it.)

The only exception is St. Petersburg(Russia) where the alternative is to apply for a Russian visa.
(Well of course they would try doing that.Even though there is a lot you have to do to get a Russian visa. It seems like an awful lot to have to do just so you can avoid having to go on a ship’s excursion.)
I prefer private tours
(That’s nice.Have a cookie. We’ve done tours through Costco so not totally private but not through Holland America.)
Not being able to control our time ashore will keep me off cruises
(This is one way to do it.But as I said earlier cruise lines are going to take a huge hit and if the entitled people stay the hell away, it IS going to affect cruise lines’ bottom line. TL:DR? ‘Rona is the worst thing that could have happened to cruise lines(among other things..) But do cruisers care?Not really.They are SO desperate to be on a cruise ship that they are booking cruises that may or may not happen.And I know, “why do you care?” I think it’s ridiculous because it is literally the height of entitlement . Not like that is anything new for some HAL boards posters of course.)
