(I wonder how many of the old school types still watch Laurence Welk on their local PBS station.)

One venue would be nice-the Ocean Bar
(Back in the day the Ocean Bar was party central(ha ha) and THE place people went to have drinks before dinner and dance.But those days are long gone(well unless you’re Portly Princess and a few other diehards that is)
The notion that the bad things were down to Mr. Ashford
(Let’s be real: He was blamed-and continues to be blamed-for all of the changes that were made to Holland America ships..changes that the old guard HATE.
There was a lot of frustration with Orlando-he never caught the HAL spirit
(I really don’t understand this comment. There were a LOT of reasons that the old guard didn’t like him and it has nothing to do with the changes that he made.
