[What I’ve been watching]
Mar. 27th, 2020 09:24 amYouTube:
Portlandia skits
Crime scene cleaning videos
Robot Chicken
Horrible Histories(a UK series-not only does it scratch my history itch-I think I’ve mentioned more than once that I am a history buff)but the anglophile one as well.
Netflix:
Tiger King( you think it can’t get any more bonkers..and then it does)
Unorthodox(also based on a true story-I am 2 episodes in and there are only 4)
DVR:
Expedition Unknown, a show that I had never watched before but there was an episode about Nazis hiding out in Argentina. Wow.The host Josh went to a hideout where Hitler was supposed to have lived. Not Hitler necessarily, but they *did* find Nazi coins. The Nazis liked Argentina because parts of it reminded them of Germany. There is even a town in Argentina which has a population of people of German descent. This is the reason that it looks like a bit of Bavaria in South America!
The other bit of conjecture is that Hitler did not commit suicide-his remains were never definitively identified-and he escaped to Argentina. IDK if I completely buy it but the government of Argentina definitely looked the other way in letting Nazis into their country.
