[Duh, it’s slow]
Dec. 6th, 2019 06:22 pm*Complaining about how slow internet is on ships.Well yeah you’re out in the middle of the ocean and the connection is via satellite.IOW dialup on the high seas.
*Portly Princess:The cabins on Volendam are larger than the Koningsdam
(Since you’re a..how shall we say..larger person it *would* seem that way to you)
Also, the Volendam has a promenade.The Koningsdam doesn’t
(Among other things..yes yes we know...) and the fact that Kdam doesn’t have a library .I was on her earlier this year and I didn’t miss it because there was a shelf full of books that people had finished and left there(which isn’t just a Koningsdam thing-the library is going bye bye on a lot of the ships(except for the older ones where they can’t do that..) IMO it is no big loss to make the Crow’s Nest/former library area into more of a hang out area.
*I could have done without the discussion about unmentionables(and the suggestion that people go commando if comes to that. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢)
