But here’s one: A church in Mississippi refused to marry a couple because they were a mixed race couple and it was “against their religion”.
No. I do not know how Mississippians can say that their state does not have issues with race issues(and religion intertwined in there) even in 2019.If ever there was a place that has issues with race relations, it’s there.Granted, it’s the Bible Belt, and old ways of thinking are so ingrained that people’s minds are not going to be changed easily. They’re not the only state that is an offender but this..saying that it’s against their religion ..that is REALLY fucked up.
Speaking of religion:I went to a Hobby Lobby store the other day..and yes there was a lot of religious stuff there but they also had a whole section of stuff with dinosaurs on it.These are religious people and they have stuff with dinosaurs on it? Thought they didn’t believe in that sort of thing.
