[I’m on vacation.]

Y’all know my feelings about this. *points to subject line* When I’m on vacation the LAST thing I want to do is try to figure out when Mass is.The problem with Mass on the HAL ships is that they are never at a time that is convenient for me.Like early AF especially on a day when I already have a early excursion and need to get breakfast(among other things) before that.
The other times that they have them are in the evening(around the time that we usually go to dinner).Yeah..no. Now do you get why I think this is such a low priority for me?
I get points because I went to both the Vatican and also Mass at Maria Maggiore so I’ve done what I need to do and imma just enjoy my vacation.
So there’s that.But other religions get short shrift,IMO. To hear some of the posters there tell it Catholics are the only religion that matters.And that’s insane.Not only that but as I’ve said before there are people that will ONLY cruise with Holland America because of this fact.
WTF. That is all. But then you think about all of the people who could care LESS about such things and that evens things out(somewhat.) Maybe if they have enough people for a minyan they can have a shabbos service, but actually having a rabbi onboard? Usually happens in and around High Holy Days.Which, compared to the Catholic and non-denominational service, is shameful.
