(Seriously..if I had a dollar for every time someone had badmouthed HAL to the high heavens and yet two seconds later they’re booking another cruise! How about you practise what you preach?)
Look at Portly Princess..she has always said that there was no way you would get her on one of the newest ships and yet she is going on a cruise with Rev. Douchebag(Literally the only reason she would go on that ship.)
No matter how much some of the whiners are told “there are plenty of other cruise lines out there” they stick with HAL, complain about how much they hate the changes and then book(sometimes) multiple cruises.
The amount of cruises some people go on..it’s almost like a competition..like anyone but themselves gives a shit about how many cruises they’ve gone on(and have booked for the year.) No hate, but there are a LOT of people that go on multiple cruises a year, some of them a month long or more. Same with the people who have been on multiple world cruises.That isn’t cheap either. It’s a lot of time on a cruise and also gets bragging rights(if you’re someone that goes on them)
*Guess who is totally right about the Prinsendam/Amera turnaround being too short? That would be me. Basically the new owners had about a month and a half to turn her around..yeah..I’ve seen pictures and the fix is..and I’m being nice here...half assed. Hope the people who cruise on her now like that sort of thing. Of course the usual suspects(one particular poster who I’ve mentioned before) was right there with a comment..he(and Hurt Hands)...I swear.

(Here’s the thing: There have been plenty of reports of issues on many of the older ships(including the P’dam) but when people post an opinion about any of the older ships that isn’t glowing, they get jumped on(and because of that never post on the HAL boards ever again.)
