[Learn when to stifle it]
Aug. 11th, 2019 05:02 pmThe parents who got their daughter taken away(after she was “cut from the mother’s womb” *eyeroll*) can’t keep their mouths shut.Well, the mom can’t anyways. Her Facebook has just turned into a bunch of posts about how corrupt and racist DCFS are..they took their daughter away for a multitude of bogus reasons(to hear her tell it) including the fact that she is a mixed race child.
(A small recap:The parents were having their third child(their two older children having been born by c-section-probably for good reason, too). They decided that they wanted to have the baby at a birthing centre half a day’s drive from where they live(that’s how badly they wanted to avoid the c-section). On the way to the birthing centre the mom had some issues and, long story short, wound up with another(unwanted to hear her tell it) c-section. I know, sometimes you can go on to have normal births but the fact that she had had two previous c sections raises all sorts of red flags for me)
Also, the ENTIRE staff was racist and kept calling her husband a Muslim and a terrorist(he’s not.)Now, I find it hard to believe that.True, he’s not a Muslim..but she makes a point of the fact that hospital staff made such comments several times, very emphatically.
The daughter is now 10 months old and is living with a foster family(shortly to be an adoptive family.)
The mom is doing herself no favours. She bashes the foster/adoptive family every chance she gets(she referred to them as(her words) “uneducated Puerto Rican’s”. Fucking wow.Pot, meet fricking kettle.
The baby has already bonded with the foster parents, which pisses her off.Well, the birth mom has made a lot of bad decisions which led to her being in a foster home. Are foster homes perfect? No, but in this case I can see why the DCFS made the decision they did. Both of the parents have been non-compliant-not showing up for hearings, claiming it was because they couldn’t get there/had to go back to get meds..when really,it was that they didn’t want to go back there in the first case..
IMO it’s laziness. They *want* the baby back but they don’t want to do the work(IE show up for hearings and the like)in person because it’s so far away. That along with the constant bashing of the hospital, and the court system in Connecticut isn’t doing them any favours.
