Today’s prompt is: Write a story based on the last line of any book you own.
I’m choosing White Teeth by Zadie Smith.
Even though he was injured,Archie managed to pick himself up and see if everyone was OK.At the moment it was still quite chaotic, but he kept going, hoping to run into someone, only to be stopped and questioned by the police.He said that honestly, he didn’t remember anything, and he was an old man after all.
They moved him to a bench out of the way and before too long, he was found by Sam who told him where everyone else was and they both walked over there.
