[Bringing the drama this week)

Not sure if rumours or people making shit up:The Rotterdam’s tenders were not functional and they missed several ports because of it. More likely it was a combo of non-functional tenders(more likely one) and the weather being so bad that they could not get into a port(which has happened to us on several cruises).

One reviewer had a face to face with the captain..one is not hauled before the captain for no reason
(I’ll touch on this in a minute but it’s the “EVERYONE was upset thing.Every time something happens there is someone on the boards saying “I’m on a cruise and we missed a port(the most common reason for “a lot” of people to be upset.) in point of fact, the most common reason to miss a port is because of bad/rough weather and I’d say that the vast majority of people understand.We’ve had to go to alternate ports before and in the case of Cozumel, miss it entirely.

That gives us a black eye
(So apparently the person who talked to the captain-was given a talking to by the captain-made a big deal about the fact that they were on Cruise Critic)

We want to be welcomed not dreaded
(There are some people-separate from this situation-that do that all by themselves..I’ve talked about this on several iterations of this blog..there are some people who the crew rolls their eyes when they see them coming because they are such pains in the ass.)

(A) brand new member that felt Cruise Critic was a weapon to use onboard
(It won’t be the first or last time that someone has done so.)

I never doubted but I notice that some loyalists have gone radio silent
(When that happens it’s less doubting and probably that their posts got reported.)
