roaming_kate23I posted something on a friend of mine’s Facebook-it was an observation that only her and a few other people would appreciate. Sure,I know it was snarky and there was a chance that that person would/could comment on it.Not that I would care.
There is a whole back story about this person and I am not going to give the back story, even though it is relevant.
Now, my friend is mutuals with the person(s) who I commented about along with several other people.I don’t care if they are friends with those people.Really,I don’t. This isn’t high school you know.And if those people comment on my comment then I am fine with it.Really. Just know that I have beef with them and they with me. But we leave each other alone.
HowEVER..with my comment..that may change. And I don’t mind.Honesty.There *are* times when I want to try and work things out with them.But mostly not.There is one person(who I’ve mentioned before) who I was friends with but one day I said the wrong thing and she freaked out. I don’t know what was going on in her life that made her lash out like that but she did..and I lashed back.Which got me banned.Actually, not entirely true:I was told that I would be unbanned if I apologised to the person in question.I never did and I lashed out at the mods on the board too.Yeah,I burned my bridges there.But I’m glad that I did, in a weird sort of way. The mods of the board were..searches for a word and settles on toxic.
They were members of a certain denomination that has a lot of rules and even has its own capital(Salt Lake City..is that a big enough clue for you?😂).One incident that comes right to mind is when another poster was trying to figure out what church they wanted to join..one of the churches that they showed interest in was the denomination that I mentioned before. In the end ,they decided NOT to join that church and..one of the moderators got his nose WAY out of joint because of it. He could not accept that someone would not want to be in their church. Joining that church comes with a whole set of rules, as I mentioned before-that is a huge change especially if you had kids, as this family did.It’s a commitment in other ways,too.
