roaming_kate23So I talked about my brother and his wife driving out to San Diego for my dad’s birthday.It was certainly the most memorable birthday party ever, and one of those stories that the family will tell years and years from now.And here we just thought it was going to be a quiet birthday party, maybe a phone call from out of town relatives, and it turned out to be so much more!
For one thing we did a Zoom call with my dad’s brothers and sisters all but one of whom live out of state, plus my cousin and his 3 kids, and both of my brothers and my sister-in-law and 2 of their kids at home.
Then, we went over to my brothers Steve’s house and had dinner( barbecue-it was delicious!) and birthday cakes and a few presents.
