[Things and stuff and randomness for a Wednesday]
*Mellodie Ocean Jarman and her baby died after a c-section.She had been feeling dizzy and lost vision.The comments on the story were shitting all over the doctors and nurses at the hospital.Turns out that she had a pulmonary embolism which is not uncommon in pregnancy.These things are not as straightforward as you think they might be. I can’t remember where I read it but the parents were questioning the autopsy results.
*MAGAS being triggered by Kendrick Lamar missed the point off what the half time show meant.And they don’t freaking care.They are scared of anyone who does not look like them.
*Watched an episode of The Curious Case Of about Jodi Hildebrandt.And by extension,Ruby Franke. Gross.
*Made a big pot of chili which turned out REALLY good, if I say so myself :)
*Medium had an article about Teenage Fanclub’s Bandwagonesque album which came out 34 years ago.It was the one bright spot in my first post-high school job. It was at a Wherehouse record store(I can name it because it is long gone).We would play the same couple of albums over and over again.The Teenage Fanclub album was the only one I could tolerate.The rest of it, not so much.
