[Unable to be flexible?Cruising may not be for you]

*Less port stops on a transatlantic.

16-18 day cruise and there are only 4 ports.
(part of the fun of being on a transatlantic cruise is that you’re cruising.LOTS of sea days.Some people like that sort of thing.)

The Caribbean has had less ports.
(To be fair-some of the ports-Cozumel comes right to mind-have ports that are tricky to get into.)

Ports are overwhelmed by cruise ships.
(That’s not wrong..however, where the ships dock is not about popularity . The port doesn’t “hate” certain cruise lines(despite what some on the Cruise Critic HAL boards might have you believe.) It’s about when the ships get to the port-and sometimes Holland America is dawdling, as much as the diehards do not want to hear it.)
