[What’s in the water?Or on it as the case may be]
Last night on Below Deck they fired not one but TWO crew members.And wait until you hear why that is.
A male crew member,who was VERY drunk, got into bed with a female cast member who was also very drunk and NOT consenting.When the producers and camera crew saw what was going on they stopped it right away. Needless to say, he was fired.And it was traumatising for the crew member that it happened to.Not the sort of thing that you get over easily.
Then, there is another crew member who is coming on to various male crew members in a way that is what in the name of #MeToo. Concurrent to the other drama that was happening,she went in the cabin of a male crew member and was in his bed and on top of him trying to give him a massage.That got broken up quickly but was glossed over in light of the other things that were going on-no less of a big deal in my opinion.
As I said, the male cast member was fired, and the female cast member that I mentioned before(who was trying to give a massage) got VERY upset over that and basically was implying that the cast member who had been assaulted(because that’s what it was-straight up) asked for it.This was upsetting to not only the person who was assaulted but to the other female crew members.
