So imma gonna not use this person’s name or that of her child, in case she google fu’s me.But I’m getting somewhat ahead of myself. I have been hearing about this story for a while and it piqued my interest because I myself am adopted. I was adopted by two loving parents and could not have had a better upbringing . My experience is pretty much typical for adoptees.Are there bad adoptive parents?Of course there are. But things are set up to make sure that that doesn’t happen.But when it does, and it becomes public, watch the fuck out.
There is an internet entity who adopted a son from China with special needs, made a whole big deal about it even crowdfunded it..and then because of his issues,”rehomed” him. Said child had issues with food, and behaviour issues.That, and being in an orphanage for the first part of his life was not a good combo. Their concept of “punishment” was to duct tape his fingers so that he could not suck his thumb.What the actual fuck.
Plus the mom is narcissistic and only adopted a kid for the views.You notice that I don’t mention him.Because I’m not sure how much he had to do with what was going on with the little boy..and they’re not saying anything now except to do a whole lot of damage control.
As sometimes happens, the mom got pregnant and had the baby and she didn’t want anything to do with her adopted son,Mind you this was a mom who made videos during the whole process of adoption saying that “you’ll be our son forever”.Yeah,no.They had the son “rehomed” as I said before and there is some conjecture that there was low level child trafficking involved in the “rehoming” of the little boy.
There is another story that has been in the news for awhile..parents who were in some sort of end-of-the-world cult. The kids went missing and no one knew what happened to them.Until a few days ago.Their bones were found. I almost want to do another post *just* about this because it’s too fucking bonkers. And I have to do some research.I remember the family was on a episode of Dr. Phil.They were hopeful that the kids were still alive.Sadly, no.
