*When cruising resumes cruises are going to(initially) last less than 10 days. Eh, OK.
You will have to wear a mask to embark and disembark.OK.
Apparently HAL is not doing this. And in a fit of pique took all of their ships..This lead to a comment about *that* comment-why “A fit of pique?”uh, because it’s the perfect way to describe It?
What I find interesting is that Carnival Corp. which owns HAL and a bunch of other cruise lines, does not want to go along with the programme .Every other cruise line is getting their shit together for the time(whenever that is) so that their ships can cruise again.
I’ve already decided that I’m not going to cruise again so I don’t really have a dog in this fight.But to resist following the rules is ridiculous.And they are going to have sensors for ‘Rona. Of course there was a comment about it being “Big brother”(and as a matter of fact the person that made the Big brother comment was the same one who said that they would not be taking the flu shot or the ‘Rona vaccine if they were made out of aborted baby parts(he is a Catholic priest who obviously feels some sort of way about abortion.Never mind the fact that he has a chronic health issue(he’s mentioned it MANY times) and really should be getting the flu shot.
There were also comments about being suspicious of it.Great, well, don’t come crying to me when you get ‘Rona because I will be there “I told you so”-ing.
*Portly Princess claims that she rarely gets emails.Hmm, I wonder if they secretly took her off of their email list because they don’t want her cruising of HAL anymore.Lord knows that Portly has threatened to try other cruise lines but she only likes HAL-there is definitely familiarity there-and she supposedly has “friends” on the ships who know who she is and will go out of their way to get her whatever she wants.At least that’s what she thinks. The reality is that they are talking smack about her behind her back and they roll their eyes when they see that she is going to be on a HAL ship.
I picture her being very demanding and ordering room service for “snacks” in between the times that she eats otherwise-HAL doesn’t have much of a room service menu but there are several things on that menu that I could see she would order(maybe even double up on them,IDK but she is so obese that is it NOT out of the realm of possibility. To say nothing of the fact that she gets free laundry.
Oh lord..talked about this before but the person who has to clean her clothes..lots of food stains on her clothes-mostly muu muus because that’s the only thing that fits her. Let’s not forget her nasty underwear.No way is she able to clean herself properly(and not just..back there either. )
