Yeah,that inauguration was everything that I had hoped for-and then some! I was up early this morning watching CNN’s coverage. So glad that Joe Biden is our President and Kamala Harris is our(female) Vice President . This is a red letter day for sure.
I have been on Twitter a LOT today..worried that I might get a time out for liking too many tweets but(so far) nit hasn’t happened but the day is still young-and I have been tweeting a LOT and liking today.
Had to laugh at the turn out to see T***p off. Pathetic. Glad to see that his followers are abandoning him .They’re not going to tolerate T***p saying something like that and being OK with it.Like I said the other day some of the biggest T***p stans have been very quiet.They know that a) what he said and how it caused an insurrection at the Capitol and b) they have finally come to terms with the fact that Biden won and he lost. Plus they don’t have their cyber hidey holes like Parler- as soon as they shut one down,there’s another-I think there are several now. “Not my president” was trending but I didn’t check to see what(if anything) was being tweeted-but I can imagine. CNN was having a lot of fun dissing T***p-I think they, of all the media, are the most glad to see him go.
The music and poetry was GREAT-Lady Gaga-my jaw was on the floor.Not sure if her doing the Star Spangled Banner was Biden’s choice and even if it wasn’t, it was a good choice. My mom wants to get a copy of the Poet Laureate’s poem-I am pretty sure that it will be in the paper tomorrow.
